Why use My Stock Sheet
If you're looking for a Shopify App that allows you to export your inventory in Excel format for your wholesale business operations - we've got you covered. My Stock Sheet allows buyers to export your live inventory in a standard Excel format, complete with all product-related fields they might need.
When buyers are looking at your exported inventory to place an order, they expect immediate legibility: products should be easily identifiable, quantities per size should be clear and additional columns should support the buyer by offering additional details about each item. Shopify's default Excel export does not meet those requirements.
How to export Shopify inventory to Excel
Exporting your Shopify inventory to Excel is very simple with My Stock Sheet, and only takes one minute.
Download the Shopify App and install it on your webstore - all features mentioned in this guide are included in the Free plan. After you've installed it, open the app in your Shopify Admin section. Your size-run stock sheet file is already available in the dashboard, and can be downloaded by visiting the download link.
How to share your file
Once you've configured the app, visit the Dashboard section and copy your download link. You can send this link to private buyers, or ask your developer to display it on your website (if your product offering is public). If you've accidentaly shared your download link with someone who shouldn't have access, you can re-generate the unique link from the Download section in the Shopify App. Doing this will disable the previous link, so make sure to share the new link with everyone who should still have access. You can re-generate the link as many times as you want.
